FROM MISS LISA
This week the children explored a variety of textured pegs and pegboards, strengthening fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and problem solving. They also enjoyed our Honey Tree Kerplunk game, carefully placing skinny leaves into tiny openings, which helped build concentration, patience, and one-to-one correspondence skills in a fun and engaging way.
We have also continued observing the changes taking place in the cut vegetables we are sprouting in the classroom. The children are excited to check on their growth each day and notice new roots, sprouts, and other changes as we learn more about how plants grow. Have a great long weekend! FROM MORAH CHANIE We are ready for Shavuous!! We counted all the way up to 49! We counted every day since we came back to school after Pesach. Shavuout is celebrating the giving of the Torah on Har Sinai ( Mt. Sinai). We read Shavuos Guess Who? by Ariella Stern, When The World Was Quiet by Phyllis Nutkis, & Dovid the Little Shepherd by Dina Rosenfeld. We were very excited to take home our flowers to help decorate the house for Shavuous just like the flowers that miraculously appeared on Har Sinai at the giving of the Torah. Chag Sameach! & Shabbat Shalom!
