OUR TODDLER SONGS:
LITTLE TORAH
Little torah, little torah, let me hold you tight!
Teach me, teach me all the Mitzvot so I can do them right!
The torah teaches every Jew, Torah, Torah I love you!
TWINKLE, TWINKLE
Twinkle, twinkle kochavim, Shining in the shamayim!
When you say Shema today, everything will be okay!
When you say Shema tonight, everything will be all right!
Good Morning Song
We open one eye, we open two, we say Modeh Ani ‘cuz it means thank you!
We wash our yadayim six times that’s true, that’s what every Jewish boy and girl should do!
Tzedakah Song
Tzedakah, Tzedakah, Tzedakah that is what we give, to the poor people to help them live!
Tzedakah, Tzedakah, Tzedakah that is what we give, to the poor people to help them live!
So they’ll have food and clothes! So they’ll have food and clothes!
Even a penny a day, before we start to pray! So they’ll have food and clothes!
So they’ll have food and clothes! Even a penny a day, before we start to play!
Welcome to the Hebrew Academy Infant Center
Hi, my name is Janette Chavoya and I will be your child’s infant teacher this school year. I’ve been teaching infants and young toddlers for 19 years and I love my job! I have been at the Hebrew Academy for about 11 years. I have 6 children, ages 9 to 20. I love infants and young toddlers and all the exploring, learning, and fun we get to have. I cannot wait to spend the next school year learning and growing with you.
Hi, my name is Mahogany Casellas I will be your child’s toddler teacher. I have a bachelor’s degree and proud alumni of Cal State Long Beach. This will be my sixth year at the Hebrew Academy with hopefully many more years to come. I’m excited to be working with your child and aiding in their development throughout the year. I hope to develop a trusting relationship and close bond with your child and you so that we can have the best experience here together.
We would like to welcome you to the Little Gan Infant Center! We want this to be a pleasant experience for you and your child. We have provided this information to help you get started on an exciting journey with us!
When you arrive to the infant room, please sign your baby in. We will put your child’s labeled bottles and food in the refrigerator, which will have a tray with their name on it. Bottles need to be labeled with the child’s name and date on the bottle. The cap must have the child’s name written on it.
Your baby will have a daily report. Please write the last time your baby was fed and changed and how they slept. We will use the same report throughout the day to document when your child is changed and fed. Each of their naps will also be documented. You will take your daily report home with you at the end of the day. We ask that you provide diapers, wipes, and at least two complete outfits which are seasonably appropriate. We will let you know when your child needs any of these vital supplies by leaving a reminder on your daily report. We are looking forward to engaging your child into a nice, quiet, and pleasant environment where we will be working on stimulation, caring, and affection. Our goal is to help infants develop and grow emotionally and socially and to allow them the opportunity to enhance their development. We hope that these guidelines will make the transition much easier, and as pleasant as possible!
We are looking forward to meeting and getting to know you and your child in the Infant Center.
