Happy new year and welcome back! This week we’ve been learning all about winter. In class, we made melted snowmen and painted with winter colors. We’ve read books about winter and watched a felt story of five little snowmen standing in a row. We played “feed the snowman” and we even played with ice and arctic animals to help us better understand the cold weather.
During outside time we made pretend snow that the children got to touch and play with. We also had fake snowballs and the children got to toss the snowballs into a bucket.
It’s been fun having the children back in class and seeing how much they’ve grown in just two short weeks! I’d also like to take this time to mention that we will now be joined by Morah Mimi in class.
